Forbes World's Best Bank 2020

Forbes Media, in partnership with Statista Inc., published the Forbes 2020 list of The World’s Best Banks in its second edition, under which Saraswat Cooperative Bank was recognized as the Second best bank in India. The World's Best Banks were selected based on an innovative methodology evaluating your organization's excellence. 65,000 customers across 23 countries were involved in the survey in which they identified banks they have opened checking or savings accounts with. Through these evaluations, the bank's score was based on three main aspects: 1. Customer Recommendations 2. Customer Satisfaction 3. Five Focused Criteria All credit institutions offering checking and/or savings accounts were eligible to be considered for this recognition. The final list recognizes the top 450 companies around the world based on over 3 million data points.

Saraswat Bank has been conferred with an award for innovative online account opening application - “Saraswat Bank 100+” under the category of Enterprise Mobility at ‘Express BFSI Technology Awards’ organized by Express Computer, an IT business magazine from the Indian Express Group. The award was received by Ms. Kanak Bhandare, Senior Manager & Ms. Bhavana Vernekar, Deputy Manager on Bank’s behalf. Bank has received this award across the banking industry and not limiting to the co-operative sector. Further, the award is dedicated for deploying a completely new solution & an innovative use of an existing technology to gain a competitive edge across the banking industry. “Saraswat Bank 100+” is a multilingual (English/ Hindi/ Marathi) Mobile app which facilitates applicant to open Savings account with our bank in a self-mode i.e. by himself/ herself. Applicant can get desired account number (last 6-digits) through a simple and secure on-boarding process.
