Third-Party Product (TPP) Business - Job Role and Requirement


The Third-Party Product (TPP) Business under Retail Banking Division is responsible for managing insurance, mutual funds, etc. by partners and channels. Saraswat Bank acts as a distributor of these products with respective regulatory approvals/licensing like AMFI Registration for distribution of Mutual Funds, Corporate Agency licensing for Insurance products, etc. The various lines of products/services managed by the TPP Business include the following:

  1. Investment products which include Mutual Funds, PMS, Bonds and Debentures, Alternate Investment Products, and other non-MF platform products.
  2. Life Insurance & Non-Life Insurance
  3. Capital Market products and services - Demat, ASBA, 3-in-1 account.






Job Role:

  1. Well-versed with the entire gamut of third-party products management portfolio
  2. Designing and strategizing sale of third-party products along with channels and partners to garner new business
  3. Responsible for achieving sales and revenue targets in Mutual Funds, Life Insurance and Non-life Insurance products across branches for all retail channels
  4. To interact and negotiate with various partners and channels for best pricing
  5. To conduct various training programs to help and support staff members in enhancing their knowledge on various financial products, financial markets, etc.
  6. To support channels and partners with various analytical reports on financial products, market updates and investment strategies
  7. Assist staff and partners with customer meetings
  8. To help staff members with portfolio reviews and recommendations
  9. To regularly communicate with channels/partners on market updates, attractive investment opportunities and regulatory changes
  10. Monitor & track regulatory changes, and implement them successfully
  11. Follows industry best practices, code of conducts and satisfy all regulatory requirements needed from time to time
  12. Complies with internal and external audit requirements
  13. Prepare various analytical reports including product notes, market update, product factsheets, etc.
  14. Assist staff members for customer meetings and/or online customer meetings to promote an investment opportunity or guide them on their portfolios, etc.
















Job Requirement:

  1. Post Graduate Degree with a minimum five years' work experience in Banking and Financial Markets
  2. Analytical skills to evaluate various product ideas and present to the channel/partner quickly
  3. Ability to quickly understand/anticipate the business requirement and outline the business benefit
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills
  5. Should be result oriented, go-getter, have a passion for numbers and be able to work under deadlines
