About Fastag:

FASTag is a tag which uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology for making toll payments directly from the account linked to it. It is affixed on the windscreen of your vehicle and enables you to drive through toll plazas, without stopping for cash transactions. These tags, known as 'FASTag' will have dedicated lanes at the Toll-Plazas which will be known as the FASTag. It is an ideal solution for a smooth and hassle-free journey on national highways. 

Benefits of FASTag:

  1. No more long queues at toll plazas
  2. Saves fuel and time
  3. No need to carry cash for toll charges
  4. SMS alerts for all toll transactions -balance, deduction, low balance, etc
  5. Ease of payment - FASTag removes the manual cash transactions at toll and thus saves time

How to get FASTag?

To get the FASTag:
  1. Download the application form for NETC FASTag from Download section
  2. Submit the same at your Home / nearest branch. (Find Home / nearest branch)

Helpline number by MoRTH/ NHAI / IHMCL:

MoRTH/NHAI/IHMCL has launched 1033 helpline number for addressing FASTag complaints at toll plaza level. Customer can simply dial 1033 from Mobile/Landline for the following issues:
  1. Stopped at the plaza for Tag blacklist reason even though Tag is  not blacklisted
  2. Plaza not accepting FASTag
  3. Plaza not able to read the Tag
  4. Plaza not sug for monthly pass issuance
  5. Any other applicable issue for FASTag
