Saraswat Bank holds a permanent license from RBI for dealing in foreign currencies. Transactions under foreign exchange are undertaken through designated B category branches of the Bank. Banks accept NRI deposits as per the provisions of FEMA. These deposits can be maintained in Indian Rupees and / or in select foreign currencies. Along with acceptance of NRI deposits, Bank also offers loans to NRIs and services for enabling investments eligible under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) as per RBI directives.
