This scheme is introduced by the Government of Maharashtra to provide self employment opportunities for NEW entrepreneurs and start-up business activities. It is a credit linked subsidy programme through establishment of Micro & Small Enterprises (project cost limited to Rs. 50 lakh) in rural as well as urban areas in the state.

Based on total Project cost.  (Permissible limit will be calculated considering margin amount to be received)

Cost of the Project / Unit:

  1. Manufacturing Sector – Maximum Rs.50 lakh
  2. Service Sector – Maximum Rs.10 Lakh
Project Cost Classification
  1. Cost of the land should not be included in the Project cost.
  2. Cost of the ready built-up work shed/gala/workshop is admissible subject to maximum 20% of the total project cost.
  3. For working capital limit is 30% of Project cost.

Margin:

Based on total Project cost
General Category – 10% of project cost
Special Category – 5% of project cost

Rate of Interest:

  1. For loans up to Rs.25.00 lakhs – (PLR - 3%) = 11 %
  2. For loans above Rs.25.00 lakhs to Rs.50.00 lakhs – (PLR - 2%) = 12 %

Eligibility:

Individuals:
  1. Only one person from a family will be eligible under the scheme. (Definition of family includes self and spouse).
  2. Scheme is available only for setting up new projects/ventures in Maharashtra (viable micro, small enterprises).
  3. Applicant(s) should be resident of Maharashtra.
  4. The applications should be received from CMEGP Portal only.






Entities:
  1. Proprietorship, Partnership and Self-Help Groups (SHG’s) registered with respective authorities.



Eligible Units
  1. New Manufacturing units
  2. Service Sector are Agro-based & Primary Agro processing activities, E-vehicle based goods transport and other businesses, single brand service ventures, single brand-based chains, mobile service ventures etc as per the MSME definition.

Age Limit:

  1. Any individual between 18 to 45 years of age.
  2. For Special category age is relaxed by 5 years.

Registration:

Udyog Aadhar/ Udyam Registration with the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India under the Scheme is compulsory.

Training Certificate:

  1. Applicant need to undergo at least 10 days / 2 weeks training from Agencies approved by Directorate of Industries (DOI) depending upon category of activity.
  2. Applicant must possess anyone Training Certificate under Residential Entrepreneurship Development Programme (REDP) / Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) / Skill Development Programme (SDP) / Entrepreneurship cum Skill Development Programme (ESDP).

Guarantor:

  1. In case of Pvt Ltd company, personal guarantee of all the Directors.
  2. In case of Partnerships firms: Personal guarantee of all the partners should be sought to ensure that all partners are party to the advance procured from the Bank.

Repayment Period:

Revolving line of credit (Exposure should be reviewed every year)

Term loan with 36 months to 84 months (Excluding moratorium)

Moratorium:

6 months 

CGTMSE:

The proposal finance under the scheme MUST be covered under Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro & Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) of Govt. Of India.


Shareholding:

2.5% of loan amount or maximum of Rs.25000/-


Processing Fees:

For Loans Up to Rs.5 lakh – NIL
Above Rs.5 lakh Upto Rs.10 lakh – Rs.5000/- + Applicable taxes
Above Rs,10 lakh Upto Rs.25 lakh – Rs.7000/- + Applicable taxes
Above Rs 25 lakh – Rs.10000/- + Applicable taxes
(No other charges such as CIBIL/other credit agency, FI & CERSAI)

  1. Duly filled prescribed loan application form (Unnati loan application form to be taken)
  2. Printout of CMEGP application page from the CMEGP Portal.
  3. KYC Documents - Latest Photograph, PAN Card , Address proof of applicant & guarantor.
  4. Proof of Local Residence: Birth Certificate/School Living Certificate with valid address as a proof for resident of Maharashtra. (In case of birth outside Maharashtra, the applicant must possess domicile certificate)
  5. Special Category Certificate - Cast Certificate / Cast Validity / Disability Certificate / relevant document issued by the competent authority.
  6. Certificate of Educational Qualification.
  7. EDP Training Certificate (Anyone) - Certificate of completed Training of Residential Entrepreneurship Development Programme (REDP) / Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) / Skill Development Programme (SDP) / Entrepreneurship cum Skill Development Programme (ESDP). Online training certificate will also be accepted.
  8. Udyog Aadhar / Udyam Registration Certificate
  9. A certified copy of registration of constitution of the individual/firm (Registrar of Firms) of the Project / Unit is required.
  10. KYC of Entity as per Bank’s KYC Policy
  11. Project Report
  12. Business plan along with projections wherever applicable
  13. Payment receipts along with bank statements in case of reimbursement
  14. Undertaking from applicant providing rights to the bank for liquidating Subsidy FDR in case of default.
  15. Income documents like ITR, P&L statement and Balance sheet of applicant if available.
  16. All other applicable legal documents as per norms
